This was the game we had been waiting for all year. Not perfect, but a well played full 4 quarters where you offense played well, defense played as well, and no stupid mistakes were made. All 3 sides of the ball played very well, again, not perfect, but very well. Best game we have played…

This week we’re gonna do it a little different. Thoughts will focus solely on ASU and the peril they can force on us this week. Buckle up and here we go. As a Lion in the late 80s and early 90s most know that we won an LSC title in 1990. Little known fact is…
First, the defense played another fantastic game. They have saved this season multiple times, and the fact that we are even in the playoff picture is almost completely due to them. There was a drive or two where big plays let UTPB score, but shutting out the Falcons in the second half and letting them…
Lions escape Odessa despite a determined UTPB team and overall a very poor offensive ball game, and another great defensive effort. 5 Morning After Thoughts Tomorrow.
Lucky Lions……….Bring us home, Bring us home.
No, you are reading that correctly. UTPB is out playing us, out executing us, and playing harder. Offense is out of sync. Again. Lions kick to start the second half.

A LOT TO GET TO, and sorry for the delay. Volleyball: A huge congrats is in order for Coach Craig Case and his netters as they are currently 23-5 overall, second in the Lone Star conference, ranked 21st in the nation, and 2nd in the first round of regional rankings for the NCAA tournament. If…
This was a total team win. Offense looked better, not explosive, but they were moving the ball much better than they had been in prior games. Kane Wilson did not need to throw for 400 yards, his 131 yards from 12/15 passing and 1 passing TD was more than enough. Ovie Urevbu had 118 yards…
