Jack Jacobs-You probably didn’t know this, but Jack Jacobs had never made a start in college. In fact, he had never taken A SNAP at Quarterback in College. He had not seen game time since he was a Senior in High School at St. Francis High School in Southern California. His first college start and he was an efficient 14/22 for 165 yards and a touchdown pass. He had his rough moments, but he stuck through them. I had seen Jacobs in High School film, and aside from the botched RPO, he was about as good as you can ask for. A gutsy performance for the young Sophomore to build on.

EJ Oakmon-18 rushes for 82 yards and kept the chains moving.

Jordan Hamilton-8 rushes for 61 yards the touchdown that was the knockout blow for the Lions.

Micah Simpson-2 touchdowns, one rushing, and one receving with 138 yards of total offense himself. Super impressive from our offensive superstar.

Major McBride-The R-Soph got his first major action in college and responded with 5 yards per carry and 2 touchdowns. Pottosboro has to be proud.

The Offensive line-The Lions absolutely gashed the Demons Defensive Line for 254 yards and controlled the tempo of the game. It allowed the Lions to have total control on offense.

Tramar Gilbert-Tackles, Tackles for loss, and two sacks. He was the man on defense.

Duncan Parham-Once again, tackles, more tackles for loss, and a sack.

Roman Kupu-5 Tackles and a tackle for loss.

Drewvon Oxendine-A Sack, a tackle for loss, and 3 tackles.

Wesley York-2 tackles but the big part was the interception that got the Lions into the turnover margin.

Ozlo Rigby-5 for 5 on PAT’s, a 42 yard field goal, and 63 yards per kickoff and 2 touchbacks.

Ben Mehan-4 punts for a 36.5 yard average with a long of 40 and saved us on a couple of occasions by getting the ball off quicker than maybe he was ready for, but avoided a block.
