Game Balls-McNeese State

  1. David Bailiff-Congrats to our Head Coach who got his 100th career victory tonight, and did it against a team that we needed to beat to get the momentum going. He had this group ready to win on the road again, and we are thrilled to have him here in Commerce, America.
  2. Andrew Armstrong-What else can you say? The guy is our Ace in the hole and he continues to play up week in and week out. Statistically he is the best Wideout in NCAA Division I-FCS. 9 Receptions for 119 yards and 2 touchdowns. He deserves to be here.
  3. Eric Rodriguez-He threw two picks, but he was still a very efficient 24/35 for 268 yards and 3 touchdowns. Our offense ebbs and flows with this guy and when it flowed, it flowed most of the night.
  4. Spencer Long-This guy. He has heart, toughness, and everything you could ever want in a football player, and he is getting his due now. His touchdown to seal the game was just pure effort and execution. He was also excellent in pass protection and had 4 catches for 36 yards out of the backfield.
  5. Michael Noble-He was terrific tonight. 8 tackles with 1 for loss, leading the team in that category. He was also responsible for some bone jarring hits.
  6. Reggie Branch-Came in at the end and tacked on 63 yards and a touchdown. Duly noted.
  7. Kendall Paul-Probably had the best game of anyone on defense. 7 tackles, 1 for loss, and an interception returned for 32 yards, which was a total back breaker for the McNeese offense.
  8. Mitchell McGarry-Another fantastic game for the leg of thunder from down under. Had a 59 yard punt and averaged 42 yards for the night on 3 kicks, and bailed us out on all 3 occasions.
  9. Emmanuel Adagbon-Hit a career long 42 yard field goal and added a 22 yarder, and was 4/5 on extra points, only missing one due to a bad snap.
