The A&M-Commerce Women bowed in the LSC Semifinals to top ranked West Texas A&M 58-44. The Lions were sitting at 8th in the region, and are hoping a win over 7th ranked Eastern New Mexico Friday Night will push them into the NCAA tournament. With an overall record of 20-10, it is a team on the bubble, but I do believe this team has proven themselves to be a National tournament quality team.
The Men will face off with West Texas A&M. The two top teams in the LSC go at it again, this time for the LSC tournament crown. The Lions have essentially clinched a spot in the National tournament with their strong play in the latter part of the season with a 23-7 record and earning a birth in the LSC title game seems to be what will put keep them in the thick of the National tournament. Expect to see the Lions going dancing for the 4th time in 5 years.
LSC Men’s title game tips off at 1 PM in Frisco.
