Lets get to it.

Football News: Big news day coming out of the polling world. The Lions rise to number 8 nationally while Midwestern drops to 13th, but somehow MSU is 3rd in the first set of regional rankings and we are 5th. Don’t get me started. Anyway, this is Homecoming week and I hope to see you all there. West Texas A&M…..DO NOT OVERLOOK THEM. MSU did, and that did not work out so well for them. We are in a tie with Midwestern for first, we control our own destiny so with 3 games left, lets wrap it up and go into the playoffs and hopefully host.

Congrats to the Men’s XC team that picked up a second place overall finish at the LSC Cross Country Championships in Commerce. The Lions will head to the South Central Regional Meet as a team on November 5th, this is the best season the Lions have ever had from where they finished as a team. Also, Terra Truitt finished 6th overall and the Lady Lions finished 7th in the team standings. Truitt heads to regionals to run as an individual. Congrats to all on a great season!

Soccer: Ladies were tripped up in Canyon, but rebounded to beat up Eastern New Mexico 3-0 to move back into first place. Big games coming down the stretch for the Lions.
