The Lion Wire has received word that Texas A&M-Commerce head coach David Bailiff will not return as Head Football coach next year. We do not know if this was due to the University releasing him or a resignation, but this happened this Monday afternoon according to sources. We will have more on this when we get all the facts regarding Bailiff’s situation.

Do better Brian! Your readers can’t tell if your opinions are real or fake news. Deputy AD Keith McCluney deserves a public apology from you. A real man of integrity and character would display his ethics an apologize himself instead of having Russell do it for him. Sadly, you continue to whine and cry like a child on social media as if you are “the smartest man in the room”concerning TAMUC Administration.

You might the most foolish person alive that I am aware of right now. You can’t tell if my opinions are real or fake news? It’s called an opinion you troll. Opinions can be right or wrong, that is the definition of an opinion. Now, I got 13 different people who told me Mr McCluney had parted ways with the school, including 4 who currently work at the school, and I reported it. The Athletic Department contacted me to tell me he was still with the school, so I retracted. Russ was the first to be able to get to it and we are always of one mind on the big things. We apologized on social media for getting it wrong and said we would do better. Don’t question my ethics and integrity since you don’t even have the backbone to leave a real name or real email, but rather you are being a coward and a sanctimonious troll. And regarding me thinking I am the smartest man in the room, I don’t like to think so, but when it comes to the people running the school, yeah, I think I probably am smarter than them. I sure as heck would not have not gone Division I when I knew we couldn’t afford it. The school is being damaged by the people in the Administration building. Badly.
And you might be one of the most arrogant, prideful, and tunneled visioned person that I have ever encountered next to Tim McMurray. I listened to the podcast tonight and all I heard was a bunch of whining, crying, and pointing of fingers at Dan Rudin, but no solutions to the issues presented other then getting rid of Dan Rudin. And yet no apology for Keith McCluney. It’s not that hard. You posted false information on your blog so apologize on your blog. You choose to believe the rumors and opinions of 13 people and you got burned. If you want to point a finger at someone for the mess the Athletic Department is in now, quit writing Thank You letters and point a finger at Tim McMurray.
McMurray didn’t want to go Division I in the first place. I know that for a fact. Also, put your name on it you spineless coward.
and yet they did under his watch…..So, what your saying is that he lied in September 2021 at the Division I announcement. Also, enrollment declined in 2018 after the Football National Championship.
