Storylines: After a hard fought loss, the Lions now have absolutely no margin for error in the final 4 games of the year in order to make the playoffs. Western New Mexico comes to Commerce for our annual homecoming game and Western comes in with just one win on the season, and it was against UT-Permian Basin. Western is full of athletic talent and has played a hard schedule so far. They love to air it out and use their athleticism in order to compete. For the Lions and the thousands that will be there for homecoming it will be a beautiful day in Commerce to get one game closer to the regular season end goal, which is to qualify for the NCAA Division II playoffs. This starts a 4 game stretch to show the voters that this team is good enough to be one of the top 7 teams in Super Region 4. The season comes down to these four weeks and four games. Time to take care of Business on Saturday and have a happy homecoming.
