Storylines: The tests of this season continue to get harder and more unique. The Lions leave the friendly confines of The Hawk and travel to the Rocky Mountains to face off against a perennial Division II power. Just 5 years ago, CSUP won a National Championship and they are one of the powers in the RMAC conference. Last week made Lion fans feel very good about our offensive situation and the potential firepower we have on that side of the ball, as well as the special teams play. Defense played very well considering they were on the field for 82 plays against a grinding offense. As far as how to take on an opponent like the T-Wolves, one must approach this game with a deep desire to take them down as they are already feeling two ways; either chomping at the bit to play again after the loss to Colorado-Mines or feeling that their home field advantage is not as strong and play scared. Despite being higher ranked than CSUP, the Lions go in as 3 point underdogs. Injuries will also play a big role, as CSUP has some key players out for this game, but the Lions have 1-2 big names out including tailback EJ Thompson, who might be done for the year.  For David Bailiff and his staff, it is a chance to not only go back on the road and win another tough road game, but to show that A&M-Commerce Football is still the potent force to be reckoned with in this game, and in games to come.
