A truly horrendous first half. Here are some thoughts.
- WOU is throwing everything they have at the Lions, the Lions appear to be sleepwalking.
- Lions need to open up the playbook. A lot of the plays are not running.
- Western’s D-Line is coming hard and fast, and we have to counter that.
- Punting has been poor. Scrap the running rugby punt and let Viquez kick it conventionally like he did on the last punt.
- Defense HAS TO MAKE adjustments. Time to dial up some pressure.
