Storylines: It is homecoming, so a big crowd descends on Commerce as the Lions need to take 3 final steps to get back to the NCAA Division II playoffs, and that starts with beating West Texas A&M. That gets us 2 games closer to the goal of finishing the season out at 9-2, setting us up for more than likely a 6-7 seed. That being said, this West Texas team is just like the WT teams of the past, and that means they are NOT to be looked past. If so, we could have a very unhappy homecoming game. We must win this game, no questions asked. Toss out the rivalry and the bad blood between the schools and staffs, time to get down to the nitty gritty and win this game and take one more step towards getting back to the playoffs, and then all bets are off from there.
Hope to see you at the Alma Mater tomorrow.
See You At the Hawk.
