A few thoughts…

1. First, congrats to Fort Lewis. They are a sound fundamental team and we can expect to see them down the road. Not an easy win by any stretch.
2. The Lions needed to be the aggressor and they were. Not much else you can say about it other than that is what needed to happen, and that is what happened.
3. The name of the game was yet again, DEFENSE. Jaret Von Rosenberg had his squad ready and it showed. They won in 3 key areas, defense, shooting, and rebounding.
4. West Texas A&M awaits the Lions. They have to be physical to ensure they can get to the Sweet 16. It is possible from this point based on the kind of Basketball the Lions have been playing the past 3-4 weeks.
