This is a game that could really put Lion football back on the map permanently. This is a program that has done a lot in the past 4 seasons, but the belief that the second round is the furthest we can go is not really a popular thought. With every game that has been played this season, the thought of a serious run at a national title has become more real every single week. The senior group that is playing has come a long way from 5th best team in the conference to the class of the conference. That just has to do with outworking your competition. Former Lion greats Bob Bounds and Gary Compton will be in attendance, as the last time they visited GVSU together they took down the Lakers as a pass/catch tandem.

Side note: There will be a watch party at Lakewood’s first and ten in East Dallas. I PLAN on going, but that depends on how tired I am. This week was pretty exhausting, but I do hope to be there and catch up with some alums.
