PLN’s The Daily Roar

Congrats to the Lady Lion Soccer team that made a huge statement in the young season by knocking off the number 2 team in the nation, the University of West Florida, beating the Argonauts in West Florida yesterday afternoon. Callie Arnett scored the first goal, then newcomer Madison Cordts hit the goal that sealed the game for the Lady Lions. Tuesday evening the Lions return to the pitch in Dallas as they take on Dallas Baptist at 7 PM.

Lion Football-

I am setting a write up for the game against Texas A&M Kingsville. The Javelinas are 1-1, dropping their first game to Humboldt State out of California, and defeating Colorado-Mesa, 17-14. It looks like this is the same type of team from the standpoint that they like to run the ball and throw it very little. I will do a more detailed write up, but I expect us to have the same type of game plan and game that we saw last year, and hopefully, with the same results.

Lady Lion Volleyball-

The Ladies take on Ouachita Baptist Wednesday night, hoping to improve on their rough 2-7 start.
