Storylines-For the Lions of East Texas, this is their best chance to get a third win before the season ends. Houston Christian comes in only having defeated an NAIA team in their season opener and has not beaten anyone else yet, barely defeating Northwestern State by 3 points. This is a game that the Lions can close up shop on their home schedule by getting their first home win of the season and then seeing if they can match up with a very good Texas-Rio Grande Valley team to end the season. A win, especially a blowout, would help raise Lion spirits going into the offseason and into the final game of the year, and its an absolute necessity for Dolezel and his staff. This isnt a must win, its a big BIG WIN. It is severely needed.
