Storylines-Last week’s game against SMU was full of a ton of what Jim Mora would call “Coulda Woulda Shoulda.” 31 point swing in between points left off the board due to turnovers or short fields. It is one of those things that drives you nuts. The Lions will play the most prestigious program they have ever played in program history and once again it will be on TV, and Florida State is high off their win over Alabama. FSU believes they will walk over, around and through the Lions will bare minimum effort, especially with the Lion starting QB out (probably). That said, a lot of film can tell you what separated the Lions from an earth shattering upset and a typical and expected result and that was execution.

The Lion Blue Gang defense gets its biggest test of the year against a Florida State team that is going to run left, run right, and run up the middle. The secondary must be ready for the efficient passing game the Seminoles will also use to keep the Lion Defense guessing. What The Noles will do and come out in attack will be hard to determine.

Good news is that it is all down here from here. A bye week next Saturday before the Lions head to Grambling and then Host North Carolina Central for the first game of the season.

Roar Back Here.....
