Storylines-For the Lions of Texas A&M-Commerce, this is a chance to wipe the slate clean on what has been a hopeful but so far disappointing season. The Lions had 2 legitimate shots to win out of conference games, including one that was against a ranked FCS team. They also had a chance to take an FBS school that is likely headed to the PAC-12 to the wire, however, two things have been the story of this season, turnovers and lack of execution, which have been two sides of the same coin for a while. With the exception of the humbling and rough gut check of last week against a very good Sacramento State squad, the Lions have shown themselves to be a much better squad than last year. Deeper, more talented, faster, and stronger. However, the lack of execution on offense and the turnovers continue to plague the Lions and it has an effect on all 3 sides of the ball. The Lion defense is much better than the numbers say, but if Old ET wants to be a serious contender in the Southland Conference, they must protect the football. If the Lion offense scores and takes care of the football, you could and should see a very different outcome than the results of the previous week. It all starts Saturday in Southeastern Louisiana, who is licking their wounds as well from a 1-4 start. Which pride of Lions wins the day on Saturday? The Lions on the bayou, or the Lions from the prairies. We will find out, but if the pride from the prairies does not turn the ball over and plays solid defense, this should see the TAMUC with their first win of the season. If not, expect another rough game to watch.

Roar Back Here.....
