Impact Players-

RB-BK Jackson-The leading rushing last week will face a defensive line that is pretty beefy, but not as deep as last week’s.

QB’s Eric Rodriguez-If he is healthy, he has a chance to show FCS what he can do against a more evenly matched defense. A healthy E-Rod gives our offense a good chance against the Aggie defense.

WR Jaden Proctor-He’s due a big game.

DL Clifford Funderburk-His mission: put pressure on Miles Hastings and get in the backfield.

DL Leon Young-Same mission as Funderburk. Plug up the middle and make Hastings beat you with his arm.

DB Max Epps-Make Miles Hastings be afraid to throw your way and Lan Larison be afraid run near you.

DB/LB Kendall Paul-Disrupt the timing of the Aggie offense and help make Miles Hasting’s life difficult.

Punter Mitch McGarry-The Offense is going to need to be bailed out at some point, regardless of how well they play. McGarry was impressive last week with an average of 43 yards per punt. He needs to stay on his toes.

Overall: I am not saying to sleep on the Aggie defense, because Heaven knows we need improvements on offense, but this game will come down to how much better our defense, once vaunted, can do against an Aggie offense that is not quite what they were last year, but has two really good players. Also, expect new play calling but not necessarily a new plan of attack especially with a former assistant who knows how to run this Aggie squad. If our defense plays well, we have a shot.

Of course, our offensive production certainly would not hurt matters either.
