It feels so good to be able to hand these out again. We have not done this since October of last year, which is when we won our last game. This game was terrific and we will have more on the 5 Wide Tommorrow, but here are the game balls-

Josh Magana-He had a career night. He was terrific and has really shown to be the Man to take the reigns of this offense. He completed 12 of 21 passes for 266 yards and 2 touchdowns. Well done, Sir.

Ra’Vieon Hargrove-139 All purpose yards to go with 2 rushing Touchdowns and a fantastic night.

Mitchell McGarry-5 punts for a 37 yard average including one that pushed the Cowboys back to the 1 yard line. He continues to excel.

Emmanuel Adagbon-He needed a good night, and he got one. Hit field goals from 50 and 40 yards, and was perfect on extra points, going 5 for 5 on extra points. This is what we expect from the Senior who has waited a long time to make this position his own.

Blue Gang Defense-After getting shellacked last week, the Blue Gang defense, every single one of them, got back up and sacked McNeese 5 times, picked them off once, and forced 2 recovered fumbles. McNeese only got 280 total yards. Excellent job, defense and DC Kyle Williams.

Mention: The coaching staff. We only give out game balls to the players or total units, but the coaching staff had this team ready to play. I have not seen a game that dominate in a very long time and it is testament to them and how they have reacted to going 0-4, and are now 1-0 in Southland conference play. The final game ball goes to Head Coach Clint Dolezel, congrats on getting your first win as the Lions head coach. You earned it.
