T Minus 5 Days until kickoff for 2023. Our Volleyball team and Soccer teams have already started their season and notched impressive wins already. For those of you who have been following us for a while I want to take this chance to thank you for all your support as We start year number 11 covering Lion athletics from a fan’s perspective.

Russ and I are are now starting our metaphorical full court press covering athletics and here is what to expect.

Monday’s-The Pre Snap Read-Russ breaks down how our offense stacks up against the opposing defense.

Friday-Storylines, Impact Players, & Stuff You Need To Know-I provide information on the storylines behind the game, the Impact players, and where to watch the games, listen, and basic game information.

Saturdays-Quarter by Quarter Live Posts, and Game Balls for players if we win.

Sundays-The 5 Wide Post Game Thoughts.

Now, this next part is something I want to get a little personal on. We not only welcome but encourage comments and fan interactions on this site and on our Facebook page. Last season because we disagreed with decisions made by the administration and had some people basically bombard our page with some truly despicable stuff. They all hid behind fake screen names because they were cowards but did not realize we could trace their ISP addresses because they were also idiots. So, we know who they were. That said, we also had to set some ground rules about what people can post, so here they are-

1. If you have a rumor, you may post it, but present it as just that, a RUMOR.
2. If you have something that is fact, bring your receipts, If you can’t do post it, we will take it down.
3. When it comes to critism of coaches, something along the lines of “His playcalling is awful” or “I have no idea why Player A is playing over Player B” is fine, but anything that gets personal and hateful is going to be deleted. You can criticise but remember these coaches have families and are trying their best, and these athletes are just kids between the ages of 18-23 doing something very fast, very violent, and usually in some kind of pain or discomfort. Someone is going to mess up eventually.
