TSU ran out to a 24-12 first quarter lead before the Lions closed the gap to 30-26 at the half. Heading into the final frame, the Lions were down 45-42.

Then, the floodgates opened and the hot shooting TexAnns outscored 23-11 the Lions handing the Lions their 9th loss to put them at 16-9 overall and dropped to 12-5 in LSC play.

The Lions head to Denton Thursday night for a tilt against Texas Women’s University at MaGee Arena for a 7 PM tip.
