We have received word that a true East Texas State Football legend, Stumblin’ Sam McCord, has passed away. # 7 Texas A&M-Commerce-21, # 16 Tarleton State Texans-47-5 Morning After Thoughts
1. Let’s start with the obvious, the officiating of this game was a complete and total travesty. If this is the best the Lone Star Conference can put as far as an officiating crew, that is a sad product. You could say at this point, I might be used to bad LSC officiating, but…
Final: Texas A&M-Commerce-21, Tarleton State Texans-47
5 Morning After Thoughts tomorrow. Lions lose to the Texans for the first time since 2012, and the first time since Colby Carthel came to Commerce.
End of Quarter 3-Texas A&M-Commerce-21, Tarleton State Texans-27
Bring us home, Lucky Lions, Bring us Home.
Halftime: Texas A&M-Commerce-14, Tarleton State Texans-24
So Far, it has been a tight and well played contest, but my gosh TSU is holding like crazy and has benefited from a very incompetent and maybe even biased officiating crew. The Lions have 8-83 in penalties, while TSU has 1-10. Every single possible bounce has gone Tarleton’s ways and you can thank the…

The last 36 or so hours have been very……interesting to say the least. I am wiped out both mentally and physically, but here we go. Left DFW around 1 PM yesterday and got to Wichita Falls right at 3. It was a nice and very pleasant drive across the region, an area I do not…

No Plans For Saturday? You Have Some Now….
As everyone knows, it is time for our annually ranked slugfest with the hated Mustangs of Midwestern State. This game became bigger than big after the Lions loss to Colorado State-Pueblo 2 weeks ago, but a game on the road where the Lions face a top 5 team that they have beaten only once in…
Texas A&M-Commerce Lions-68, Lockhaven-Pennsylvania Bald Eagles-6……..5 Morning After Thoughts.
5 Thoughts on a much needed dominating win. Kane Wilson is your new starting quarterback. For those who wondered why this guy was not the starter from day one, the staff had decided to go with Preston Wheeler because Wilson had the potential to make risky throws, and the offensive staff for this team stresses…
Final: # 9 Texas A&M-Commerce Lions-68, Lockhaven-Pennsylvania Eagles-6
I will have the 5 Morning After Thoughts tomorrow, but Kane Wilson got his first start and looked every bit the part we had been hoping for, and the defense was great. Tune in tommorrow for the Morning After Thoughts.
End of The First Quarter-Texas A&M-Commerce-14, Lockhaven-Pennsylvania-0
Kane Wilson started this game and is absolutely lighting it up. The offense is going for the throat as far as play calling, and Wilson has already passed for more yards in this quarter than they did last week during the entire game. 1 passing TD and one rushing TD. He has also been quick on…
