Overall-A win. A sloppy, messy, undisciplined win. But a Win. Lions have now won 4 straight games and are undefeated in Southland Conference play. This team showed that even thought it kept tripping over one coffee table after another and did multiple things that would torpedo an average team’s attempt to win a game, but…
Andrew Armstrong-The hits just keep coming. 6 catches for 102 yards and a much needed touchdown. He got us on the board first and the offense needed it desperately. Mitchell McGarry-Averaged 35 yards per punt, with a career long of 63 yards. His coffin corner kick in the second quarter that pinned HCU inside their…

Greetings, Lions fans, and as the saying in radio goes…”the hits just keep on coming.” After giving up one touchdown after a turnover on a short field, and a 12 play, 87-yard drive, and aided by a well-timed David Bailiff motivational lecture, the Blue Gang defense shut the door. An early 15-7 Lion deficit turned…
Let’s Get To It- Volleyball- Craig Cases’s squad is now OVER .500 in Southland Conference play. After starting the season 3-11, the Lion Volleyball team has gone 6-3 in their past 9 matches and have a 5-4 conference mark heading into a HUGE weekend of Volleyball at University Fieldhouse. However, they have a test tomorrow…
Greetings, Lion fans, and in the days to come following the completion of the 2022 Lion football season, there will be signposts along the way to determine just how things went for A&M-Commerce in their inaugural Southland Conference season. What follows is one of those moments, and it was a good one. 10:27 left, second…
Overall-Let me start by saying this. Whether anyone is a friend, foe, or indifferent to Lion football, know this. We are in first place in the Southland Conference for a reason. We have a Championship quality program with deep tradition. We are known for potent offenses and elite defenses. We have created chaos in the…
We are LOVING it too, Victory Bro. We are loving it too. Congrats to David Bailiff on his 100th career win. Game Balls coming up in short order. Thoughts tomorrow.
Bring us home Lucky Lions. BRING. US. HOME.

Greetings, Lion fans. Well, the Blue Gang did it again. The rest of the Southland Conference and a crowded Strawberry Stadium in Hammond, Louisiana, found out what we already knew. That the Texas A&M-Commerce Lions can play well at this level, and that the Blue Gang Mentality is much like The Force in the Star…
Let’s Get To It- Soccer- Ashley Gordon’s squad remains in the thick of things in the Southland Conference race with a 4-2-1 record. Their last match was a tough 0-0 draw against Southeastern Louisiana in Commerce on an early Senior day. This weekend the Ladies have a tilt against Lamar in Commerce on Friday night,…
4:45 4th Quarter, Texas A&M Commerce 31, Southeastern Louisiana 28. If there was ever a turning point to the Lions 2022 season, it was at this moment. #19 Southeastern, in front a raucous Homecoming crowd, had just scored and cut the Commerce lead to three points. In past games, we’ve seen them unable to rise…
A Defining Win-That is first and foremost what this was. A program defining win. A David Bailiff defining win. A Lion Football defining win. After a 2-2 start which saw injuries, a heartbreaking last second loss, and a few entitled players leaving the program, we now have a team that has been forged by fire…
