Storylines-
Texas A&M-Commerce is 4-0 and 2-0 in LSC play, narrowly escaping a tough and somewhat wacky finish by defeating Texas A&M-Kingsville 38-36 and retaining the Chennault Cup for the fifth straight year. This is the first meeting ever between the Lions and OPSU.
The Aggies are currently 1-3 on the season and 0-2 in LSC play, falling to Midwestern State in Wichita Falls. The Aggies currently average 21 PPG on offense, but are having a hard time with defense as they have given up 160 points in 4 games to their opponents. The Aggies defeated Arkansas Pine Bluff 20-16 for their sole win so far. Carl Wooten field in Goodwell seems to be a friendly confine for the Aggies as the last time they have lost a game there was in 2009 against Northwestern Oklahoma State.
