Storylines: Lions Vs. Texans Part 2. The last time these two met, sloppy play, poor decisions, and terrible officiating were the Lions undoing. This time around, the Lions are a different team as is Tarleton, here are the keys to avenging the early season loss to the Texans and moving onto the Region 4 Championship.

  1. Learn from the mistakes in the first game. Study that tape and attack the Texans where they are weak and make THEM be the ones that have to play your game. Take care of the Football, walk away when the trash talk starts, walk away. Remember that the little things are what will win and lose this football game.
  2. Defense…..just continue to do what you have been doing, but no defense, not even the best ever, can be on the field forever. Offense has to finish in the red zone, and the little penalties and little mistakes will add up and make winning a formidable task. Half of the game is mental.
  3. Like the game against Midwestern, we NEED people there. Get down to Stephenville and let’s invade the town and paint it Blue and Gold. Let the players and coaches feed off the energy that you bring to Tarleton, they need us, let’s give them the support they need. Ill see you all in Stephenville.
